The Language Teacher Toolkit
I know Phd. Gianfranco Conti from his great blog The Language Gym. In this book, co-authored with Steve Smith, a seasoned French teacher, the two educators bridge the gap between research and classroom practice, providing insights to the young teachers and trainees. The book offers a diverse set of activities that can be used in French, Spanish or German class. A must have.
Creative School
This great, inspiring book is a more precise and elaborate proposition on the world of education by Sir Ken Robinson, the author of “The Element” and famous TedTalk speaker. Full of example from outstanding schools, administrators, teachers, students and parents, the books reads like a novel. Perfect to inspire the out of ideas teachers ! The First Days of School
An old one, but a good one, this book was given to me when I started as a young French teacher in the public system in South Louisiana, years ago ! Great to get organised right at the beginning of the school year, this one is perfect for elementary and middle school teachers. Just to remember the obvious, sometimes ! For the trainee or new teacher, a down to earth goldmine !
